Hans Knürr founded a craft business in Arnstorf in 1931. In the 1960s, he began developing, producing and selling sheet steel enclosures for the electronics industry.
The Knürr company had a knight’s armour as its logo and the slogan “Noble creations are protected with sheet steel enclosures”. This guiding principle continues to accompany us and remains not only a symbol of tradition, but also a sign of the strength and consistency that we incorporate into each of our innovations.
In 2006, we became a member of the Emerson family, an American company. In December 2016, the Emerson Network Power division was spun off as an independent company under the name Vertiv. Vertiv developed into a global company and leading specialist for racks and integrated solutions.
Since 01.12.23, the Knürr name has once again been active on the market independently under the name Knürr GmbH and we promise you future-proof, innovative technology and customised solutions, from planning to design and implementation for your processes and room conditions. Our focus is on turnkey control room planning, including complex technology integration for maximum functionality in your business processes and your business.
