We greatly appreciate the commitment of our employees and are proud of this personal initiative. With their commitment, the members of the fire brigade support public safety as well as safety within the company. Knürr supports this commitment through ongoing training and further education. For example, a fire drill took place in October.
It is important to us that as many employees as possible have specialist knowledge in both preventive and defensive fire protection, this includes, for example, instructing colleagues on how to behave in the event of a fire or how to use fire extinguishing equipment.
Important principles in the fire service are co-operation and the ability to work in a team, which also pays off in day-to-day work.
Fire service members usually take on additional functions and responsibilities. This also trains organisational skills.
