The size and substance of the premises at the Lüdenscheid fire and rescue station no longer met the requirements of a modern control centre. As part of a completely new construction project, the Märkischer Kreis Fire and Rescue Service Centre (BRZ MK) was built. The new control centre was also installed in this building.
